The Vermont Agency of Transportation is pleased to announce that the North Hero-Grand Isle drawbridge on US Route 2 has resumed operation May 15, 2017. Boaters will be able to enjoy traveling through this area on a steady schedule – opening on the top of the hour between 8 AM and 8 PM, 7 days per week, until October 15, 2017.The construction of the replacement twin-leaf bascule structure is planned to begin in 2018.
