Next week, the contractor plans to work 8.5-hour days, Mondays thru Saturdays, during daylight hours. Please remember to obey posted speed limit signs in the work zone to keep everyone safe.

Planned Construction Activities: The contractor is continuing to build out the temporary bridge on both the west and east sides concurrently. The contractor is now complete with installing rock anchors for the first three piers on both the east and west approaches. They will soon begin working on the sixth piers. The fifth and sixth piers on the east side will provide the crane access to install the piers for the temporary movable bridge span.  The picture below shows the east approach with temporary timber decking through the fifth bridge span. The contractor is preparing for work at the sixth pier.
